6:30 p.m. Festival Opening Night Party presented by The Paint Mixer’s. Paint-A-Pet.
Paintings may be donated the next day to our silent auction at the Pawparazzi Film Festival.

Pawparazzi Film Festival Event 

10:00 a.m.  

Pawparazzi Festival Suite opens across the plaza from the Megaplex Theatres at the Gateway in downtown Salt lake City, Utah.  Please Join us for hot coffee and pastries with Best Friends Animal Society and our Sponsors.  The Pawparazzi Suite will be open all day and pets are welcome. The Megaplex Theatre does not allow pets inside unless they are featured in a film or are a service dog.

11:00 a.m.          
Official welcome remarks and introductions led by Foxi leFierce of Rescue Rovers and a special appearance by Stetson, the Pawparazzi Film Festival Canine Mascot.

11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Utah premiere of The Champions, followed by a Best Friends Animal Society panel discussion and audience Q & A.

2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.                                                                                                                                                                      
Pawparazzi Film Festival program of shorts, including: A New Life, Pug Love, HEAL! Veterans speak about PTSD, Snowmageddon: The Dog Days of Winter, The Brief (W-I-P, we are in post sound/colour), When I was a younger beagle..., You Can Do This With Your Cat, Pooped, Awesome Living with Andy, The Fish, and A Dog’s Life. (Schedule subject to change)

3:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Award Ceremony. Announcement of the Pawparazzi Film Festival Award winners in each category and presentation of awards to the winners.


4:00 p.m - 5 p.m. 

Meet and mingle with our Festival sponsors and rescue partner organizations.

***Throughout the day, be sure to visit all of the wonderful dogs and cats looking for their forever homes. All animals will be available for adoption and will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed or neutered and ready to go home with you!***
